Rendered walls should not be pressure washed as this can lead to damaging the surface, and as you would expect, this can be a costly mistake to rectify. Instead we use a process called softwashing.
What is softwashing?
Softwashing is a low pressure cleaning process using special solutions that are used to break down and remove organic matter such as algae, mildew, fungus, moss, lichens and bacteria. It will remove dirt, grime and spiderwebs. Soft washing has become a safe alternative to jet washing which uses a high pressure cleaning process that will inevitably lead to damage.
This softwashing process is totally safe and is biodegradable. It gently cleans the surface while leaving the cleaned surfaces looking almost like new again.
